Fire Extinguisher, Testing and Replacement Program
In Australia, fire extinguishers must be regularly inspected and tested to ensure they remain safe, compliant, and effective in an emergency. As part of this process, units are replaced once they reach their end‑of‑service life or no longer meet safety standards.
Given the recent change‑over requirements for our extinguishers, GEM Industrial chose to donate many retired units to the Kongwak CFA. These extinguishers will now be used to support hands‑on training programs for volunteers across the Gippsland community.
We’re proud to play a small part in strengthening local emergency response capability, and equally proud to continue supporting the volunteers, sporting clubs, and community groups that make our region stronger.
