1200mm to 1600mm Overnight: Keeping Gippsland Operations Moving
A long-term client of more than 15 years recently experienced a critical pipeline fitting failure that required immediate attention.
With an urgent requirement from a major mine site in Gippsland, our team mobilised quickly to turn around the MegaMc 1600 fusion machine overnight, ensuring minimal disruption to the client's operations.
The machine had been configured for a 1200mm pipeline project scheduled later this month, which meant a significant reconfiguration effort. The team worked through the challenge of removing the 1200mm liners and masters, changing over the heat plates, setting the machine up for 1600mm operations, and completing full testing prior to dispatch.
