Mt Piper Water Treatment Plant
In late 2017, Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure was engaged by Veolia Water Australia under a design and construct contract, for the construction of a 14.8 kilometre Water Transfer Scheme from Springvale Mine together with a new Water Treatment Facility at Mt Piper Power Station.
GEM Industrial was commissioned to advise, fabricate and install pipelines from the mine to the treatment plant to transport up to 48 megalitres of water per day (produced from mining operations) for use in the power station.
